[OSM-dev] JOSM mappaint: mixing icon and area in a elemstyles.xml rule?

Hi List!

While experimenting with the JOSM mappaint plugin.

For amenity=parking, I wanted to have both an icon for single nodes and 
also an area for parking areas (which is ok according to the map 
features page) on "the map" in JOSM.

However, I've failed to change this in the elemstyles.xml file.

Having both icon and area keys in a single amenity=parking rule, the 
node is completely hidden while the area is shown correct.

Using seperate rules for icon and area with both rules using 
amenity=parking, still only shows the area, but not the node.


Am I missing something obvious or is this a bug in the way mappaint 
handles this? If it's a bug, what's the best way to fix it?
