Hi,

Stats now available for the squid cache serving as the default layer for 
www.informationfreeway.org:

http://code.firefishy.com/files/cache-stats/

Summary: Tiles served 56% quicker.
~2GB of tiles per day @ 60% cache hit rate.

As the project grows, distributed caching becomes more important to 
offload key infrastructure.

Mapnik layer next?
