How is this information currently drawn on the maps? Is is it drawn  
at all when done as a node. It will be drawn on a way when zoomed in  
far enough.

Personally I would think that the way should be tagged with this  
information rather than just the node. That way you have information  
on what the way actually is. Maybe I'm causing a change in the  
current practice of tagging. OK some junctions don't have names or  
numbers.
