[OSM-dev] Trac Notification

Was it a deliberate decision not to enable email notification of
the creation of, and changes to, trac tickets? or is it just a result
of trac's slightly odd default of not notifying anybody?

I've entered a ticket suggesting that it be turned on anyway - the
ticket is:

  http://trac.openstreetmap.org/ticket/503

If somebody is looking at trac they might want to handle another
ticket while they're at it:

  http://trac.openstreetmap.org/ticket/451
