Very nice! In case you're running apache2, you could add a %D to your  
log format string, that would give us the number of microseconds used  
to process the request - which would be very interesting for  
statistics (I envisage a graph of "average time to store a node" to  
find out which hours are best for uploading ;-)).

On apache1.3, you only have %T which gives full seconds, but that  
would still be worth a lot even if many requests would simply log 0.
