[OSM-dev] Arabic text on wiki.openstreetmap.org?

One of our collaborators here in Bethlehem, after attempting to
translate some pages in the OSM wiki, pointed out that Arabic text does
not display correctly. Compare
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Ar:Main_Page with
http://ar.wikipedia.org/ and note how the text is correctly
right-justified in the latter and incorrectly left-justified in the
former.

It would seem that the MediaWiki people have figured out how to display
right-to-left character sets correctly; is there anything we can do to
get this working right in our wiki? Thanks in advance!
