If either is going to be done, please can it be done in a way that can
be turned off? Otherwise any specialised use of the map that adds its
own POIs or pushpins is going to be wrecked. I strongly feel that the
addition of additional POI information, wikipedia data etc does not
belong in the base map but in an optional extra layer.
