I am not aware of plans to add auto-routing to the main site any time
soon but just becuase *I* am not aware that doesn't mean there won't
be any in a few months' time ;-)

Lots of people are doing their own routing implementations or using
existing software/algos (google for "navit" or "pyroute", for example,
or see www.openrouteservice.org) but we're still a bit away from a
cool UI like Google's.
