[OSM-dev] [Osmosis] BBox of OSC

Hi,

is it right, that osmosis doesn't have the possibility to clip
OSM-Changefiles?

I tried:

java -Xmx1048m -jar osmosis.jar --read-xml-change
file=20081017-20081018.osc --bounding-box left=-12 right=40 top=80
bottom=35 --write-xml-change file=eu20081017-18.osc

and got

com.bretth.osmosis.core.OsmosisRuntimeException: Task 2-bounding-box does
not support data provided by default pipe stored at level 1 in the default
pipe stack.

Did I miss some information in the wiki, did I siemthing wrong or is there
really no possibility to clip OSC?
