[OSM-dev] Holes in contours

On the piste map, I have some large holes in the contours for Canada.
Initially I thought these were holes in the SRTM3 data itself, but I've
noticed that the cycle map seems to have much better coverage of the area.

Compare:
http://www.openpistemap.org/?lat=49.6124&lon=-114.4173&zoom=14&layers=B000
http://www.opencyclemap.org/?lat=49.61379&lon=-114.42141&zoom=14&layers=B000

Is the cycle map still using the SRTM3 data for Canada, or is it using the
higher resolution data sets that are available for North America?

I haven't seen any similarly large holes in the contours for similar
latitudes in Europe but I can't think of any sane reason why this problem
would be restricted to Canada.
