[OSM-dev] Garmin GPX madness

So anyway, for all us losers who use garmins which output sub-optimal  
GPX files... can we make potlatch, or something, automatically not  
zoom all the way out and to the start of the track, but zoom in to the  
end of the track?

That strikes me as better than asking everyone to sell their GPS units  
or take up GPX editing as a hobby.
