Hi,
Taking on board all the handy comments as provided in the previous
thread, and with a bunch of other dev work, attached is r23 of my gpx
import rewrite.
Chiefly, this now supports:
Zip files
Tarballs (gz and bz2 compressed)
CPIO archives (gz and bz2 compressed)
gzip compressed GPX
bzip2 compressed GPX
plain boring GPX
In multi-file containers (zip etc) we support loading more than one file
(although as before they are concatenated into a single trace, ordering
not guaranteed)
However, unlike the ruby, if there's an XML parse error in one of those
files, we actually report which file it was in!
Again, comments, suggestions etc gratefully received. I believe this
closes the major missing functionality hole.
Regards,
Daniel
P.S. anyone who is bzr-enabled, can grab the branch from
http://bzr.digital-scurf.org/trees/dsilvers/gpx-import and I'd be very
pleased to receive patches/fixes as bzr bundles.
