My take is always that the users are grown-ups and responsible for their 
own actions. If there is something cool that would be useful for many 
legit purposes, then I'd always do it.

Those who desperately want to import KML can do so anway, so it's not as 
if you'd open Pandora's box.

Just make sure you *tell* people that it is not ok to trace stuff on 
Google Earth and import it. Whether they heed your warning is none of 
your concern.
