There are several marks saying "This way is tagged as bridge or tunnel and therefore needs a layer tag". This, however, is not correct: a way tagged as bridge or tunnel does not automatically need to have a layer tag, but instead any intersecting, but unconnected ways (representing physical features) must have different layers (with no layer meaning layer=0).
