DBSlayer takes /query and basically can output to json, php, ruby,
python and xmlrpc. Since it uses the Cherokee loadbalancer principle it
is easy to balance between databases.

I think the real XAPI syntax is nothing more than a bad XPath
implementation. I have created that aswell before, but I think what I
has set up now is much more efficient and gives more power to the user.
Ofcourse also to break it.
