Osmosis doesn't have a far jar.  It would be handy in cases like this so 
if anybody wishes to produce one it would be appreciated.

Every library included in the osmosis "lib/default" directory must be 
available at runtime.  You used to be able to get away with it for some 
basic tasks such as xml reading and writing but this is no longer the case.
