The Potlatch SWF talks to the server it was loaded from.

So if you have loaded Potlatch at
   http://www.mymappingsite.com/potlatch/potlatch.swf
then it'll talk to
   http://www.mymappingsite.com/api/0.6/amf/read

You can point it somewhere else if you recompile Potlatch - it's one of the
settings in potlatch.pl.

Better still, use Potlatch 2, where you can configure the server in the
variables you pass from JavaScript. :)
