I don't think I can easily revert that, and I certainly don't want to 
unless it's essential. We've moved to more up to date code so maybe it 
has a stricter or more accurate implementation of OAuth?

All the OAuth tests still pass anyway so I don't think it can be too 
badly broken.

I don't know anything about OAuth though, so you probably need to get 
Matt Amos who wrote the OAuth stuff to take a look and see what the 
problem is.
