Hi,
Some user on the deegree mailing list had a problem with osm2pgsql and I
made a test to repeat the case. It seems that selecting the projection
does not work perfectly with the Windows version of osm2pgsql (downloaded
from http://tile.openstreetmap.org/osm2pgsql.zip). Utility informs itself
that the version is "osm2pgsql SVN version 0.69-20874M".
1) Using the -l switch does not work. The error message is
"Projection code failed to initialise"
2) Using -E switch fails with a message
"Couldn't read EPSG definition (do you have /usr/share/proj/epsg?"
The -M switch for EPSG:3395 works as well as the default without setting
any projection switch. I adviced that deegree user to import the data
first with default settings and re-project data afterwards inside the
database.
