Ahh, that was you, yes I saw it. Well I'd really like to know how to do it with 
OpenLayers.Request, so your code probably won't help.

Nice, yet either Nominatim or your code or both don't show usable results. E.g. 
if I search for "London" I've almost to type the full name.
