[OSM-dev] Q regarding export by RoadMap

Hi,

The buildmap tool from the roadmap project
(http://sf.net/projects/roadmap) accesses OSM to download map info, via
queries like

www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/map?bbox=5.053710,52.163085,5.097655,52.207030

It often gets "HTTP/1.1 509 Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" replies.

My basic question is how to respond to that. Are there alternate
servers ? Is there suggested behaviour for applications that try to
download map info this way ?
