Yes, R25078 seems to work (it is currently importing). Actually
after/while compiling I got an error (make):
libtool: link: g++ -g -O2 -pthread -o osm2pgsql build_geometry.o
input.o output-pgsql.o rb.o middle-pgsql.o osm2pgsql.o sprompt.o
UTF8sanitizer.o expire-tiles.o keyvals.o output-null.o
parse-primitive.o parse-xml2.o pgsql.o reprojection.o middle-ram.o
output-gazetteer.o text-tree.o  -L/usr/lib -lpq /usr/lib/libxml2.so
-lbz2 -lgeos /usr/lib/libproj.so -pthread
make[2]: *** No rule to build the target »debian/osm2pgsql.1«,
  required by »all-am«.  .
make[2]: leaving directory '/home/mortn/bin/osm2pgsql'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] error 1
make[1]: leaving directory '/home/mortn/bin/osm2pgsql'
make: *** [all] error 2

(sorry for manually translated error messages, I forgot to do export
lang:en and my netbook has not enough power to do something else
during osm2pgsql import).
