[OSM-dev] Introducing OSM2World: 3D models from OSM data

Hello devs,

my current project, OSM2World, generates 3D models from OSM data and
exports them to formats usable by other applications. The program is
written in Java and published under LGPL. It can be used as a
stand-alone tool or built into other Java programs as a library.

Please be aware that this is still an early version (more of a preview,
really) with lots of room for improvement. Nevertheless, I hope that it
is of interest to some of you.
