[OSM-dev] Planet file Import OOM kills postgres

Hi,
i guess it took about 10 days, ist a VM at my university 8 Core 8GB Ram I do
not know what kind of HDD they have included.

Can you post some more details? I bet that a lot of people like to know how
long it took and what CPU and hard disks you used (RPMs/RAID)?
