We've discussed the policy on email addresses at TWG in respect to
this. We decided, for now, not to trust any particular provider but
it's still up for discussion and there wasn't any fundamental
objection to doing so in the future. I don't see that the highest
priority right now (even on this topic, getting OpenID turned on - at
all - was the first priority).

This should work already - its something that I made sure was working
when I was doing some contract work on this topic (for mapquest, as it
happens). If there's some combination of openid + signup that prevents
an originally-asking-for-oauth chain to break, that's a bug. It should
definitely be working for oauth-signup-confirmemail-confirmCTS-oauth.
