Are you talking about svn co

Is it of mapnik 2, and how is mapnik2 different from mapnik.

I also dont know what exactly the tirex is and what is the purpose of using it.
Because I usually do rendering using simply mapnik.
as I am setting a automatic tile rendering system as a project, this
will help me to clear all the concepts and to use any tool if
required.

Segmentation fault normally means programming error. Wrong use of
pointer, memory issue.
