[OSM-dev] Computing Road Network Statistics using Osmium

Hello everybody,

I need currently to generate some statistics for OSM road networks. More
precisely,
some of those  statistics include for instance: the average length/width of
road/footway networks,
how many streets are contained on average on a junction, etc.
I found an old related
post<http://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2011-November/060690.html>but
couldn't follow whether Osmium includes already any
minimal C++ example on which I could begin to work.
