I quite like oysters. But the last time I had some I was very, very ill
indeed. I'm not sure what the parallel is there.

FWIW, http://svn.openstreetmap.org/applications/utils/amf/ has examples in
Python, Ruby and Perl of recovering deleted ways via the AMF API.
