[OSM-dev] Geospatial PDF maps from OSM data

Hi,

I was playing with some new features of the next GDAL version 1.10 (OSM
driver, vsicurl-system for reading data through the net, and pretty much
improved geospatial PDF driver). On-demand enhanced simple base maps could
sometimes be reasonable alternative for the Mapnik
"All-that-we-have-in-OSM-must-be-rendered" style. PDF can also contain
attribute data wich gives some nice possibilities.

Tutorial includes all the GDAL configuration files and commands which are
needed and it will not be difficult to create similar PDF files from
different areas, with different OSM features on the additional vector
layers.
