[OSM-dev] Directly reprojecting OSM/PBF files?

Hi,
I suppose you want the output to be in some OSM format but GDAL OSM driver
is read only so I fear it is not your tool. You may want to compare the
speed of what ever solution you will finally use with GDAL. It reprojected
yesterdays great_britain.osm.pbf (464 MB) into EPSG:27700 and saved the
result into Spatialite database in 6 minutes and 3 seconds. I fooled a bit
and saved several minutes by turning off the spatial index creation.
