You won't really need an Interface for this because osm is not an Export
format but simply the format you get when data is downloaded using the osm
API:

wget -O mybbox.osm 'http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/map?bbox=37.6181102,55.7511852,37.6196766,55.7519762'
