[OSM-dev] The OSM reference map/the default map style on osm.org

For me it looks more like the second definition. The OSM "reference map"
shows data with a minimal pre-processing with errors visible.

Mappers (people contributing to OSM data) usually do not produce their own
map, so they only check on OSM their contributions.

Cartographers (people producing maps from OSM data) may compare their own
map to make sure they did not miss something.
