What a surprise, I didn't know this script exists. I searched on Google for
similar scripts but didn't find any.

Anyway, there is quite some functionality in nik2img which is missing in
mapnik-render-image. I will merge those scripts for the next
version.

Thanks for pointing me to nik2img!
