Hi Paul,

thanks for your answer. You're right of course, I should have added
the command to my first email immediately, so I'll do it now:

/usr/local/bin/osm2pgsql --number-processes 4 --append --slim --cache
4096 --proj 3857 --prefix planet_osm --style
/usr/home/brfr/osm/default.style --host 10.0.0.2 --database osm
- --username osm2pgsql --hstore-all --verbose /tmp/osm-load-next.65646.osc


And I'll investigate the process with a newer version of osm2pgsql and
report back on the results.
