[OSM-dev] correlation of gps traces

Hey Gerd and Peter,
Thanks for the info. I don't think that the heat map will be of much use
in my case since the goal is to compare them without directly involving
the OSM data. The point is that this project is aimed at places where
the bus routes information may not exist or OSM data may be incomplete
thus, making the heat map not so useful.

As for the map matching, yes I am definitely planning to use that once I
figure out a way to determine if the traces are related and to combine
them in a meaningful way. 

For now I will continue checking. Thanks for your help, and I will be
happy to know if you get more information.
