In addition to what has already been said, it does look like a
particularly poorly-designed survey, even by the historically low
standards of "academics with little prior knowledge running surveys on
OSM". I tried to look at the questions and was unable to do so without
actually submitting an entry*.
There is genuine useful ground for research here on all sorts of levels,
and good work has been done in the past - an examination of the nature
of edits (almost none are completely automated, but many mappers rely on
automatically generated QA indicators) would make a lot of sense, but
this survey is not it.
