[diversity-talk] How are our diversity levels looking?

hello diversity list!

I'm lifting my self-imposed subscription ban, now that at least 60 days
have passed since Serge was kicked off this list of excessive diversity.

How are things looking? Are there any efforts one should be throwing
oneself behind? 

Does SoTM definitely have a code of conduct? I know the US one did, can
it just be repurposed? (Thinking of this latter because of the
inordinate quantity of online gripe that FOSDEM seemed to get itself
into recently for not having a CoC)

For the benefit of those not subjecting themselves to the talk list,
there's been some work on the general "mapper's code" but it very much
limits itself to online, not offline, behaviour, based on the draft that
Frederik once posted here. This is guidance intended for new mappers,
maybe to read off on registration pages, has some general approval
noises but not sure how to move on it next.
