[Diversity-talk] Code of conduct

Not sure how to make suggestions directly in the Google Doc or if i want to.

I appreciate and feel broadly its sentiments but do not feel prepared to sign anything which has as a preamble an attack on one person, whatever the trigger. It's not equitable, risks entrenching the division. Principles sound but keep it about how things should be in a better world, not about how broken they are in this one.

We did a survey of Local Chapters and those considering forming one. The results showed that 5 LC already had a CoC, 6 did not and 6 were consider or in a discussion to have a CoC.
