I've added a paragraph in the end about who to contact. Does that work?

Regarding mentoring, I should clarify that the mentoring we provide
during the application phase, is very limited. We generally tell people
how to get started and then come back with questions. There is a very
practical reason: we get dozens of applicants per mentor, os close
guidance would be a full-time job. We also found that students that do more of
their own research during the application have a much greater chance of
success with the project. Once the student is accepted, there are
2 mentors per student, so there really is a close support then.

If the application process is an issue, we would probably need help with
the coaching as we can't put more work on the mentors. I would suggest
we see how it goes this year and then decide how to continue. I will
asked the mentors for application numbers. Maybe tell students to
mention that they heard about the programme via youthmappers.
