[Gsoc-orga] Contributing to OpenStreetMap development.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Manish Bera, a second-year computer science undergraduate student
eager to learn and contribute to open-source projects. Although I am new to
open-source contributions, I am highly motivated to support your
organization and gain experience through practical application.

I have a solid foundation in programming languages, including HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, Java, Python, and C/C++. Additionally, I am well-versed in
frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind, Node.js, React, Express, and PyQt,
and I have a decent understanding of databases like MySQL and MongoDB.

I am very interested in applying my skills to support OpenStreetMap. Over
the past two days, I have been exploring the website and have come up with
a few ideas/features that might improve the user experience. I would love
to make some initial contributions to the codebase to assess the
feasibility of these ideas and to familiarize myself with the project
structure.

Could you please guide me on how to get started with contributing?
