[Gsoc-orga] GSoC Project Proposal Second Draft - Request for Review

Dear Simon,

I hope this email finds you well. First, I wanted to apologize for my
prolonged silence—I had to travel back to my village unexpectedly due to my
grandmother’s passing, and the limited internet access there made it
difficult to stay in touch or make progress during that time. I’m now back
online and fully committed to refining the proposal.

Attached is the second draft of my GSoC proposal, incorporating your
earlier feedback and the project guidelines. I’ve made updates to the *Project
Proposal* and *Timeline* sections, including:

   1.

   Technical details:

      Add OSM authentication with confidence scoring for submissions.
      -

      Explicitly aligned testing practices with your guidelines (TDD,
      SonarCloud).
      -

      Proposed Rust for the API.
      2.

   Timeline refinements:
   -

      Buffer weeks for GSoC check-ins.

      Added weekly availability.
      -

      Distributed authentication work across phases.

I’d greatly appreciate your feedback on the following*:*

   *Architecture & Tooling*:

      Is the tiered approach (PostgreSQL + Rust API + React UI) suitable,
      or would you recommend alternative tools for any component?

      Should the proposal include diagrams (e.g., system architecture, data
      flow) or detailed schema examples?

   *Timeline Granularity*:
   -

      Would breaking milestones into smaller tasks, or breaking down the
      weekly timeline further be helpful?
      -

   *Other*:
   -

      Are there any sections that need deeper technical detail (e.g.,
      Implementation strategy, architecture)?

Thank you for your patience and guidance. I’m eager to address any gaps and
solidify the proposal ahead of the deadline. Again, I apologise since the
deadline's in about 3 days, and as such this is a bit short notice for a
review, but I look forward to your insights and suggestions.
