Hallo Roland,

Google möchte auch dieses Jahr wieder das im Text verlinkte Formular 
ausgefüllt haben, um uns Geld für die Teilnahme am Google Summer of Code 
über unseren (vermutlich noch bestehenden) Payoneer-Account überweisen 
zu können.

Voraussichtlich werden das $3000 (6 * $500) zu unserer freien Verwendung 
und $1200 oder $1900 an Reisekosten-Stipendien für die Teilnahme von 
Mentoren am GSoC Mentor Summit sein.

Als Treasurer würde ich das Ausfüllen wieder dir überlassen. Wenn du 
weitere Informationen brauchst, wende ich aber gern an uns

Hello Org Admins!

Google uses Payoneer to pay Google Summer of Code Contributors and 
Organizations. Payoneer is a fast and convenient way to receive payments 
globally.

One person from your org is responsible for completing the payment 
request form 
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdGqNpy_u-bfMFVMFXqB7jHndn4rzyIw6CeJn7RU0Fc7kPDhg/viewform?usp=sharing&resourcekey=0-ig_K_LA-B09HMS-RQk_DgQ> 
(even if your org will be declining the stipends). This email is only 
being sent to your 2025 Org Admins - if someone else is responsible for 
finances for your org please forward this information.

*Included in your payment is:*

  * $500 per GSoC contributor for your organization called the ‘org
    stipend'. This is sent to the org in the form of *one* payment after
    all projects have concluded. If the org wishes to disburse the funds
    to their mentors they are welcome to do that on their own.
  * A $1200 travel stipend for 1 delegate to attend the 2025 GSoC Mentor
    Summit. If no delegate from your org attends the 2025 GSoC Mentor
    Summit, $0 travel stipend will be issued.
      o Note that if your org is granted a waitlist spot for a 2nd
        delegate to attend the 2025 GSoC Mentor Summit, you will receive
        *an additional $600*. Watch for more details on this later this
        summer.

*Please do the following:*

 1.

    *Carefully review the details* in the Payment Instructions for GSoC
    orgs
    <https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/help/org-payments?hl=en>
    page which contains information on how to claim your payment,
    deadlines and FAQs.

 2.

    *All orgs must fill out the payment request form

    by May 23rd*. This provides us information we need to process your
    payments via Payoneer.

     1. If your org *does not* already have a Payoneer account
        associated with GSoC *DO NOT* create a new one. We will send you
        a unique url around May 27th that you must use to create your
        new account.
     2. If your org would like to decline the stipend, please let us
        know via the form. If you will be accepting funds for several
        orgs, please list all the orgs on the form in the notes section
        at the end.
 3.

    *Review key dates below*

  * *May 23 -* Deadline for Orgs to fill out the payment request form

  * *July 1 -* Deadline for new orgs to complete registration with Payoneer
  * *July 15 -* Deadline to complete tax form, available on org Payoneer
    account
  * *September 30 -* Organizations with only 8-14 week projects are paid
  * *October 30 -* Organizations with extended 16-20 week projects are paid.
  * *November 18 -* Organizations with 22 week projects receive all org
    stipends, including Mentor Summit travel stipends. All orgs that
    sent a delegate to 2024 Mentor Summit will receive their travel stipend.

*If your org participated (and was paid) in GSoC between 2017 and 2024* 
go to your Payoneer dashboard and ensure that all of your banking and 
contact information is up to date and accurate.

Note that Google can not issue stipends to Organizations that are part 
of any federal government or to government or public university 
employees in the United States. And finally, Google can not disperse any 
stipends to Google-led Organizations.
