[OHM] Getting OHM up to speed with OSM

Hey Jeff, all,
Really sorry - not really done anything the past couple weeks with all my
travel, etc. To be honest, I didn't get much beyond figuring out the
structure of things -- Albin, if you're able to go ahead with figuring out
the merging of upstream, that would be ideal -- if you are unable to do so,
please let me know and I can look at where I left things off and try and
mungle my way through it ..
It does seem a little bit sad that most of the pain while merging was just
dealing with places where the string openstreetmap.org has been hard-coded
in and we needed to change that to openhistoricalmap.org -- it seems like a
lot of that pain could be solved by just putting the base url string in
some sort of config file .. not sure that that's something that upstream
would accept as a change though - but wondering if anyone had any thoughts
on that? Just putting that string into a config file seems like it would
save a lot of pain while merging in upstream ..
Any-how, Albin, do let know if you're not going to be able to get to this,
and I can try and pencil in some time next week to try and follow up ..
Also, Jeff, I'm in the Bay area for the next week -- would love to meet up
and / or schedule a bit of hack-time if you can give me a space to work out
of for an afternoon or so .. let me know :)
Cheers!
-Sanjay
