[OHM] Historical mapping

Hi!

I'm sending this to the historic mailing list at OpenStreetMap, which I've
recently joined. Not sure if there’s any activity here these days, but I’ve
had some thoughts on this over the years that I want to share. It builds on
the idea of a crowdsourcing platform where anyone can contribute towards a
map of our complete history, and earth history too for that matter. Hope
there’s still some interest out there.
