It's a hot summer for most people in the northern hemisphere and the effects on foliage and crops are making it easier to spot previously unseen features on the ground. While there will be some lag time before aerial imagery is available, be on the lookout for the outlines of destroyed buildings [1] and world war ii airfields [2] appearing in the landscape for mapping.
