Import scripts were mentioned on the OSM GNS wiki page 
(http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/GNS), including 
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:Ewmjc/GNS_2_OSM_Conversion_Script.

PS: anyone could had checks for names that would already be in OSM, to 
avoid creating duplicates with a raw import ?
