Okay, yes I can understand. SO, here is an alternative option: http://maps.eq.org.nz/maps/osm-tiles.html

Also, over the next day we will be working to optimize the rendering speeds on this machine. We're still working on proper tile expiration so right now not much caching is being done, but the fact that it is hosted in NZ should help.
