Hi Floris,
There was an announcement a while back on the mailing list. The first
part of it was a new round of membership nominations. Sorry I didn't
make another one midprocess, things have gone slower than I hoped. We
are voting for single new board seat to replace Robert Soden. The
reason being that when Robert took a job at the World Bank him being
on our board and at World Bank employee is against the ethics rules.
Rather HOT could not work on World Bank contracts then.
The way voting works is you have to be a member of the HOT
organizational membership to run for the board or to be nominated.
The way to become a member of HOT is to be nominated by an already
existing member. The original members were nominated by Mikel, Dane,
Nicolas, Robert and myself.
All this is outlined in our Bylaws:

Sorry for the confusion.
