Dear hotties,

I would like to share an existing collaboration my Institute is
working with related to disaster management and response here in the
Philippines (see my email to the osm-ph list below).

I am writing the hot list as we intend to use and adapt many of the
experience and developed technologies by the Humanitarian OSM Team in
many aspects of the project. If you have further ideas, please do
share.

More information will be provided soon.

Dear everyone,

I would like to share that my Institute (www.essc.org.ph) is assisting
a local church group for their disaster management initiative. The
purpose is to provide scientific and technical information that will
support and enhance the church's disaster related activities through
geospatial information. We will be using mostly open data and open
source technologies.

The initial baseline information will be openstreetmap. We also plan
to use OSM related technologies in many aspects of the project. There
will be mapping parties, hazard mapping workshops and community
meetings and discussions.

I am writing the list to invite you to participate in the activities
especially during the mapping parties. More details soon.

If you have other ideas, don't hesitate to contact me or discuss in this list.
