[HOT] Updates to the Export Tool and New Tag Chooser

Agreed. The visual tags are more intuitive than XML presets, but still fairly unintuitive.

I'm noticing a number of documentation tasks associated with our tools. Can we start a documentation tracker somewhere to better manage these and understand what's covered / not?

We need a tutorial for using the visualtags. I have made presets before this using text editor, and visualtags has made it much simpler. But new users will find it difficult to use it. A guide or video to explain the preset schema and the features of the visual tags chooser would be nice.

Thanks Kate

Getting a ssl warning for visualtags

It should be: http://visualtags.hotosm.org/ (http not https)

It is hosted via heroku at https://visualtags.herokuapp.com/ where you can access the service also but which the heroku domain has the ssl certificate.

I added both services to http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Humanitarian_OSM_Team/Working_groups/Technical#Resources.2C_Hosts

Thanks. Have edited the wiki to change from http to https

Would also be interested in any feedback about the Visual Tags application.

Cheers,

Tim
